It is the fifth day at the Summer Academy and the trainers are educated on the way to deal with Ghost Type pokemon, in case they come across such types. They are then paired off to locate a special medal at the Summit Ruins on a close by mount. Prior to the start of the event, Conway gets mesmerized by a mystery girl and has been taken to the mountain.
At the commencement of the event during the night, Conway is found missing, but is later located by Dawn along with the Ghost Pokemon Dusknoir. Everyone returns to the academy thinking that weird things are happening at the mountain. In the meantime, Ash and Angie are after the mystery girl.
