Ash and company are having their meal on their travel to Veilstone-City. Chimchar is surprised to see a congenial atmosphere, when Ash, Dawn and Brock released their pokemon and it thought of the dissimilarity in the approach of Paul and Ash.
In the meantime a pack of Zangoos is attracted by Sevipar of Team-Rocket, the outcome of which was the take off of Team-Rocket. Meowth did not move in the same course as Jesse and James did and could not join them, but bumped into Chimchar during night.
Team-Rocket assaults on the following day and seizes all pokemon other than Chimchar, belonging to Ash. The Zangoos also comes back and join in the assault and in the end Chimchar losing its fear of Zangoos trounce them and conquer its fear.
